With electronic communications now being the standard form of communications companies are looking to improve speed and reliability. Email should arrive almost instantly and alert you without user intervention, features like "out of office" and the ability to easily organise and share information built into a familiar interface.

You can never predict when your internet connection will be disrupted by the latest road works chopping through cables but you can be prepared. A backup server will hold email for up to 14 days and automatically deliver them when it senses the main server is available
